4th of July in Las Vegas
Miami GoCard. One all-access pass to Miami attractions at a low price.
Location: Various around the city

The 4th of July in Vegas, here I come! Dust off those dice and shuffle those cards, I’m ready to break the bank! I’m kidding. But I’m a kid, so it’s OK. I’m actually going with my parents to Las Vegas to celebrate the Fourth of July, and I had no idea that there were so many free things to do.

Our first stop will be … the LIBRARY? It actually sounds pretty neat. It’s at 833 Las Vegas Blvd. North, and at 2 o’clock they’re going to read Fourth of July stories. Then we get to make a flag montage!

The wildest time will probably be July 3, on Fremont Street, for the big party at 6 p.m. They have this huge “Viva Vision” screen with a sound and light show. Cool! The entertainment is by Berlin with Terri Nunn.

I don’t know who she is, but I think my mom will like it – she’s an ’80s kind of chick, you know?

On the Fourth, we’ll be heading to the Star Spangled Spectacular at Hillpoint Road and Town Center Drive. The Las Vegas Philharmonic will play patriotic music (so it’s not MTV, but I can handle it). And then, my favorite – fireworks, yeah. Finally!
