Disney On Ice. If you’ve never been to a Disney on Ice show before, get ready for the “ROAR!” of the crowd—kids and grownups alike—as the famed Disney characters take to the ice.
Something about seeing Mickey and Minnie, Timon and Pumbaa, just makes kids go crazy. Grownups get a little excited too, since most of us grew up with the likes of Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket as well as Tinkerbell and so many others.
The enthusiasm is catching, and the music and skating will hold your kids in thrall, wide-eyed and taking it all in. Walt Disney saw 48 Oscars in his lifetime for Disney films. This toe-tapping event features tunes from many of the legendary movies, and will have the whole family singing along.
Memorable hits will include “Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah” and “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” as well as the perennial favorite “Hakuna Matata. ”By the time you get to the end of the show, you will have relived some childhood memories, and your kids will have created some new ones.
If that’s not enough, the show was choreographed by Emmy-winning Sarah Kawahara, best known for her work with Michelle Kwan. Watch your kids’ faces or watch the skating, either way you are sure to get caught up in the experience. Disney really does deliver on the magic yet again.
