Hilary Duff, the internationally acclaimed musician, will make her appearance at the American Airlines Arena when she brings her “Most Wanted Tour 2005.”
A triple-threat talent, Duff has become a music, film and television phenomenon thanks to an unbroken string of hits that began with her starring role in the Disney Channel Original Series “Lizzie McGuire,” the record-breaking No. 1 show in its time slot.
Duff made her singing debut on the sitcom, lending her fresh vocals and sunny style to “I Can’t Wait” from the RIAA-certified platinum Lizzie McGuire Television Soundtrack.
In her motion picture debut, Duff co-starred with Frankie Muniz in the action-adventure hit “Agent Cody Banks.” Singing and starring roles followed soon after in “The Lizzie McGuire Movie.”
Duff’s singing career is currently exploding on Top 40 radio, MTV and Top 200 retail charts. Metamorphosis, her appealing debut solo album of 13 songs, landed at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart in its first week of release. Its debut single, “So Yesterday,” became an instant No. 1 retail hit and stormed the pop singles charts on July 29, 2003.
It quickly made top-request waves at national Top 40 radio stations throughout the country and on MTV’s signature program “Total Request Live.” It also was on this show where Duff’s “Why Not” music video (“The Lizzie McGuire Movie” Soundtrack) was a Top 10 staple for months.
