The Miami Reggae Festival bring Caribbean vibe to Miami and takes center stage it opens its doors to reggae-lovers of all ages at the beautiful Bay Front Park in downtown Miami, next to Bay Front market and set against the endless horizon of the Atlantic Ocean.
Dubbed one of the biggest and best reggae events in the U.S., the Miami Reggae Festival features local as well as international talents and offers a full menu of the Jamaican beat, from early ska and rock steady to present-day dancehall, soca, salsa, calypso and ragga.
Plan to sample some of the hot and spicy Carribean foods, sip cool drinks, and listen to the music as you stroll through the arts and crafts fair featuring Jamaican and other native art, and there’s something for the entire family to enjoy.
Although this year’s talent lineup has yet to be announced, past Festivals have attracted some the greatest of all living reggae artists, including Alton Ellis, Brent Dowe, Ernie Smith, Pluto & Company, Tony Curtis, Frankie Paul, Lloyd Parks & We The People Band, The Mighty Vikings Band, Fuzion Movement, Latty Gourzang and many more.
