 The Return of the Dinosaurs
Miami GoCard. One all-access pass to Miami attractions at a low price.
The Return of the Dinosaurs exhibit at the Prehistoric Park is a trip back in time when gigantic mammals ruled the earth. Follow the tracks of roaring, stomping prehistoric behemoths and other creatures as they roamed this planet thousands of years ago.

Watch out for the dome-headed Pachycephalosaurus as you stop to examine fossilized eggs and if you’re very quiet, you can visit the nest of the adult Maiasaura as it guards its nest of hatchling eggs…and don’t forget to duck as the soaring Ptyeranodon with its massive 25-foot wing span sails by.

With 10 life-sized robotic dinosaurs and now-extinct ice age mammals roaming the premises, take care to stay out of their paths, but don’t miss the opportunity to get up close and personal with the Apatosaurus with its young or the amazing Kokoro’s robotic Tyrannosaurus rex.

The exhibit offers plenty of hands-on experiences, including operating a robot dinosaur by remote control and the kids will love searching for shark’s teeth during their first archeological “dig.”

After a lunch of Iguanodon Bon Bons, Prehistoric Pasta, Saber-Tooth Soup, Stegosaurus Strudel and T-Rex Bites at the New Science Café, end your visit with the spectacular IMAX movie, T-Rex…it’s time travel that’s well worth the trip.
