We are a non-profit organization dedicated to rehabilitation and release of sick, injured and orphaned seabirds (mainly Brown Pelicans) in Miami's Biscayne Bay area. Although they specialize in seabirds, they will accept any injured wild bird that is brought to them. They have been in operation for twenty-four years. Everyone is invited to visit the facility to learn more about their work. While you may tour the facility from dawn to dusk, it is best to come between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. when someone is usually available to walk around with you and answer your questions. Afternoon feedings are open to the public. Afternoon feedings are between 3:00 and 3:30, but vary on the weekends, so call in advance. The facility is handicap-accessible and great fun for families. While there is no charge for admissions or tours, donations are gratefully accepted, as they are our only source of funds.
