WRMF’s Halloween at Hoffman’s
Description: Depending upon what time you go, this event is geared for either younger or teenage kids. Daytime is filled with fun activities such as picking out a pumpkin and trick-or-treating through the pumpkin patch. Nighttime is when the frights begin, with a haunted forest filled with terrifying creatures and animation.

Fright Nights
Description: The fairgrounds have gone to the spooks, and older children and adults are invited to join in the fun. Enjoy four haunted houses, a spooky midway, thrilling rides and much more. The frights are out in force, this is not an event for younger children.

Batty for Books
Description: Come to the library if you dare! The haunts will come out to hear spooky (and fun!) stories and activities all about bats.

Spooky Snooze
Description: The animals at the zoo are most active at night, making the zoo a little eerie with howls and growls and things that go bump in the night. Enjoy seeing the animals at their best, make creepy crawlie crafts and learn how to use night vision to scare away the spooks.

House of Terror Amusement Park
Description: Scary fun abounds at this top-notch celebration of Halloween! Pick up a costume there, or come in wearing one. Enjoy a haunted house built just for kids, a huge maze, carnival rides, lots of food, concerts and much more.

Ghost Stories
Description: There’s no better way to listen to ghost stories than with a skilled storyteller and a campfire in the great, dark outdoors! Bring a chair or a blanket and enjoy roasting marshmallows while the stories bring a tingle to your spine.

Pumpkin Patch
Description: One of the best parts of getting ready for Halloween is finding the right pumpkin. Families can pick their own here, plus make a scarecrow or buy carving kits. Pumpkin purchases come with free pony rides!

Fall Family Festival
Description: This festival is designed with young children in mind, for a fun Halloween that is low on the scares. Activities include games, a bat cave, a fun haunted forest, pony rides, food and lady bug releasing.

Haunted Hayride

Monster Splash 2005
Description: Halloween comes to the Seaquarium! The park is decorated with skeletons, and Halloween weekend offers haunted houses and candy stations all over the park for safe and fun trick-or-treating. Even the animals get involved with shows such as Salty the Sea Lion and his search for clues to solve a mystery.

Pluft, the Little Ghost
Description: This adventure play is great Halloween fun for children 10 and under. The story follows a little girl, three sailors and a scared ghost as they try to reach a treasure before the pirates do.
