Overview
The Gold Coast
Railroad Museum is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving,
exhibiting, and operating historic railroad equipment.
The Gold Coast Railroad Museum features more than 30 pieces of historic railroad
equipment including the Ferdinand Magellan, California Zephyr cars Silver
Crescent and Silver Stag. Florida East Coast steam engines 153 and 113, several
diesel locomotives, many other cars of all types and descriptions. The model
railroad exhibit area features all gauges of model trains and has a "hands on"
model railroad exhibit for children.
The grounds and equipment of the Gold Coast Railroad Museum are available for
photo and movie "shoots", with both static and live equipment and have been the
backdrop for numerous commercial and catalog layouts, television productions and
feature films.
The property is also available for private parties, children's and adult
birthday parties, and corporate events, group tours and field trips.
