Biking the Historic Redland

Fee: $20/Person - Includes bike, helmet rental, and bottled water.

This leisurely bike tour lead by naturalist guide Roger Hammer, will allow participants to learn about historic people and places of the Redland. Learn about Hainlin's Saw Mill, James Castellow, Will Anderson, Bill Krome, and other pioneers of the area. The trip leaves from Castellow Hammock Park and Nature Center and includes a refreshing stop at Knaus' Berry Farm. This tour is rated easy to moderate.
 

Key Biscayne Heritage Bike Trip

Must be 9 years of age or older. Less than 17 years old must wear helmet by state law. This trips is rated moderate.  It is a 12 mile trip.

Come explore the natural history of Key Biscayne as you bike along the streets and paths of this barrier island. Learn about the natural and historical events, which created the Key Biscayne of today.

Everglades Wildflower Bike Hike

This leisurely-paced, 14-mile roundtrip bicycle hike will traverse pineland and prairie habitats along a firebreak trail on Long Pine Key in Everglades National Park.
